The time I've spent not-posting here has been spent researching building options vs. buying options, and right now, the market is hands-down better for buying. So, we're in the process of buying an existing home that has a great structure but needs a lot of help.
The good news is, this blog can still exist. We are still on a quest to create a modern, sustainable, affordable home. But now, I will focus much more on renovation (along with a bit of restoration) rather than building from scratch.
Hopefully what we what we learn through our process can be of value to you too.
